Picasso, the great artist, once narrated an interesting incident. One day, a beautiful young lady came to him. She said, "I saw your self-portrait a few days ago and I was so impressed that I kissed it."
Picasso retorted, " Did the portrait kiss you back ? "
She said, " No ! "
"Then it was not mine", replied Picasso.
The lesson is : An artist, no doubt, has to practice a sort of aloofness while visualizing or painting. But, the entire effort is futile if he cannot put in his personality into his art-works.
